Honorable David Johnson, CFA, ASA

David Johnson was elected Seminole County Property Appraiser in 2004 and has served in numerous roles in this office for the last twenty years. He is a graduate of Stetson University, Deland, Florida with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. His credentials include Certified Florida Appraiser (CFA) with the Florida Department of Revenue and Senior Member of the American Society of Appraisers (ASA).

During his tenure with the Property Appraiser, Mr. Johnson has been affiliated and active participant in several professional appraisal organizations. He has served as both Treasurer and President for the Orlando Chapter of the American Society of Appraisers, and has been actively involved with the International Association of Assessing Officers (IAAO), as well as that organization’s Florida Chapter. While he served as the Director of Support Services, the Seminole County Property Appraiser’s office was awarded the prestigious Public Information Award by IAAO. He is a member of the Florida Association of Property Appraisers (FAPA), serves on its’ Legislative Affairs Committee and is District III Director for the FAPA Board of Directors.

Mr. Johnson considers it his “ultimate responsibility” to serve the citizens of Seminole County with the highest level of courtesy, integrity and professionalism.
