Don't believe the doomsday predictions. Pasco County Property Appraiser Mike Wells said the county's economic turnaround has started.

"Things are going to improve in Pasco County sooner than anticipated," Wells said. "We're already starting to see property values go up in the larger, waterfront homes on the coast. I think the Wesley Chapel area will rebound next year."
