I have worked for Madison County for the past 28 years. My years of service and experience in the Property Appraiser’s office have included work as clerk, field appraiser, Chief Deputy Property Appraiser, and Coordinator of GIS/911 Addressing.

I am proud to serve as your Property Appraiser. I hold my State of Florida certification as a Certified Florida Appraiser. I am a member of the Florida Association of Property Appraiser’s. I am a member of the Florida Chapter of International Association of Assessing Officers (IAAO) which serves as an educational and networking resource for public property appraisers and their staff throughout the state of Florida. 

After graduation from Madison County High School, I continued my education at North Florida Junior College. I am married to Brad Barfield, a business owner here in Madison County. We have one son, Zane, an employee at the family owned business, his wife Kristen and our most precious new addition to the family-Wiley our grandson. My parents are Butch and Susie Baker and the late Brenda Blair Baker.
