Membership in the Florida Association of Property Appraisers is comprised of Florida's most respected County Property Appraisers. Our goal is to help shape property tax policy to the benefit of all Florida taxpayers.

Each year during the legislative session our members offer their support to your elected legislators on the myriad of tax issues that come before the Florida Senate and House. We are proud of our results such as crafting recent bills relating to hurricane tax relief and other issues beneficial to property owners. This year, property tax issues are sure to be in spotlight. We look forward to making certain our taxpayers receive the maximum benefit from any proposed change in tax policy.

Our membership has endorsed the proposed Save Our Homes Portability petition drive to amend the State constitution to allow homestead property owners to take their "Save Our Homes" tax savings, with them when they move. The petition can be downloaded from this site. For your convenience we are also please to provide direct links to the websites of many other Property Appraisers, Clerk of Courts and Tax Collector offices.
